Join us for a day of fun July 31st at Pratt Wayne Woods Forest Preserve.

We have a day of fun planned! Scouts and their familes are invited to come out for the day, enjoy the forest preserve with hiking, fishing, bag toss and more. We will have an evening hot dog roast along with fresh corn on the cob.

Please bring your own drinks and a side dish to share. The hot dog roast will be at around 6:00 PM so plan accordingly if you are bringing food that could spoil.

Festivities start around 1:00 PM.

Overnight Camping will be availble for a parent and scout after the day's events if you choose to stay.

Here is another term that describes Geocaching: Treasure Hunting. Yes, that's right, hunting for treasure. Hunting for treasure out in the wilderness is exactly what geocaching is! Lets compare Geocaching to a kind of treasure hunting you might be more familiar with. Pirates!

2010 Space Derby!

Thursday, April 22nd will be Pack 227's Space Derby. This will be our 2nd year racing on the custom Space Derby track compliments of Kevin Hall and family. We are very fortunate to have such a well built track. Competitors have been hard at work making rockets for the event. If this year is anything like last, it will be a very tight competition. Please make sure you arrive promptly at 6:30 for check-in. we have a few items to cover before the vent and then it is Rocket time.

April is the month to take action. Get up off the couch and out doors. April is a great month to start taking inventory of your outdoor gear. Check your camping supplies, tune up your fishing gear and get your hiking boots into top form.
